The project demonstrates that sustainable drainage infrastructure can be successfully integrated within urban mobility facilities. Early coordination with utility operators is essential because underground services strongly influence SUDS design. Providing sufficient subsurface storage capacity and designing for extreme rainfall events increases system resilience. The integration of vegetation enhances environmental performance and public acceptance. Long-term maintenance planning is also important to preserve pavement permeability and hydraulic performance.
