Promote adaptation of existing stormwater networks where hydrology, storage and agricultural demand are suitable. Undertake catchment and water-quality assessment; define water rights and operating rules; secure long-term maintenance and pumping budgets; train staff; monitor harvested volumes, quality and reservoir performance; and integrate stormwater reuse into local and river-basin planning.
