مسار البحر الأبيض المتوسط نحو رسملة الابتكار لتنمية حضرية و ريفية متكاملة لموارد المياه الغير التقليدية لهدف تثمينها وإدارتها من خلال تعزيز الاستراتيجيات المستدامة والممارسات الجيدة والتكنولوجيا المبتكرة.
الهدف هو دمج موارد المياه الغير التقليدية بشكل كامل في إطار حوكمة المياه وتوفير فرص استثمارية وتجارية في سياق الاقتصاد الدائري. قام المشروع بإنشاء هذه المنصة لتجميع و تشريك الخبرات وإجراء حوار معمق حول تحسين حوكمة المياه بدمج الموارد الغير التقليدية، مما سيؤدي إلى تحسينات حقيقية في وضع المياه في بلدان حوض البحر الأبيض المتوسط.
وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، يهدف هذا المشروع إلى تمكين المجتمعات المحلية من إيجاد فرص استثمارية ووظائف جديدة مرتبطة بإدارة المياه في المناطق الريفية والحضرية.
